Stumptown Kid.

By Carol Gorman and Ron J. Findley.

You are not going to believe this! There was a tryout for the Wildcat baseball team. There were 3 kids that were trying out for the baseball team. Their names were Lobo, the meanest kid, Charlie, the friendliest, and Luther, the nicest of the 3. The coach was Mr. Hennessey and was also a teacher at the school.

There was a problem with baseball practice, Charlie was having a hard time catching the ball so Lobo started yelling and calling Charlie names. Charlie went to the coach to tell him what Lobo was doing to him.

Coach Hennessey told Lobo to sit on the bench and not to watch practice. Coach Hennessey asked if he had learned a lesson, he said yes, but he did not learn. At the next practice he was back to yelling and calling Charlie names. Since coach saw that he didn’t learn he kicked Lobo off the team.

he character I loved the most was Charlie because he is friendly. The part I really liked was when Lobo was fired.

Yes, I would recommend this book to someone because I think they would like because it's about baseball and trying to make the team.
